DIRTCAR PARTNERS WITH BASS PRO SHOPS AND SUNY CANTON IN THE STARS AND STRIPES 100

WEEDSPORT, NY-DIRTcar Northeast is proud to announce their partnership with Bass Pro Shops and SUNY Canton for the July 4th Stars and Stripes at Rolling Wheels Raceway. According to Jeff Hachmann, Director of Sales, Promotions and Marketing "We are very excited about our partnership with both Bass Pro Shops and SUNY Canton. These partnerships will bring national recognition which will elevate the event and DIRTcar Racing overall in central New York." In addition to recognition this partnership will help foster a sense of longevity to the Stars and Stripes 100 as well as DIRTcar Racing. Additional supporting sponsors include Peckham General Contractors, Ferris Mowers, HEP Sales and WACK Radio.

The State University of New York at Canton is a public, coeducational, residential college located on a spacious campus along the banks of the Grasse River. SUNY Canton is Northern New York's four and two-year college for technology, health, management and public service. SUNY Canton offers nearly 20 majors leading to bachelor's degrees, more than 20 programs leading to associate degrees, and several programs leading to one-year certificates. Bass Pro Shops has become one of America's premier outdoor retailers with destination outdoor retail stores across America and Canada, serving over 75 million sportsmen a year. Each store is unique and offers a truly unforgettable shopping experience - as close to the Great Outdoors as you can get indoors!

Race fans have less than two weeks to make their plans to be at the biggest 4th of July party destination in the area as Rolling Wheels Raceway hosts the Stars and Stripes 100 presented by SUNY Canton. July 4th will be the ONLY opportunity for race fans to see the Super DIRTcar Modified Series race of the season during the 100 lapper at RWR. In addition to the Super DIRTcar Modified Series race, fans will enjoy the action of the DIRTcar Sportsman, Stock Cars, and Midstate Vintage Stock Car Club.

The Super DIRTcar Series Stars & Stripes 100 presented by SUNY Canton at Rolling Wheels will provide the perfect holiday getaway for fans and drivers alike in the famous New York State Finger Lakes. It will be an Independence Day to remember with camping, music, food, and fun. Fans who attend the event will also have a special opportunity to enjoy the excitement from the "Drive In." Rolling Wheels Raceway has a special "Drive In" destination that allows fans to enjoy the race from the comfort of their lawn chair or car. With an additional $10 fee, with the purchase of a general admission ticket or pit pass, fans have a chance to bring their own coolers and grills to keep their party going all day and night as they enjoy the racing excitement with an undisturbed view from above turn 1 and 2.  Another new addition to this year's event is the opportunity fans have to be a part of pre-race activities. Fans will have a chance to take to the frontstrech during pre-race activities to take advantage of an up-close look at their favorite cars. The action packed side-by-side racing will start at 6pm.  In typical 4th of July fashion a spectacular fireworks show will top off a great night of the fastest racing action in the area.

Adult general admission grandstands tickets for the Stars and Stripes 100 presented by SUNY Canton are $22 each, Senior Citizens (65 yrs + over) $20. Students (10-18 yrs) $9 and Children (9 yrs. + under) FREE. A special family 4 pack-2 adults & 2 student GA tickets, 4 hot dogs or 4 hamburgers, 4 soft drinks-is the best deal going at $50 apiece.
