DARLINGTON,
S.C. (Jan. 26, 2010) – Darlington Raceway will expand its family section
seating for the 2010 Southern 500 announced track President, Chris Browning.
Family
sections will now be available on both straight-aways at Darlington Raceway.
Wallace grandstand section V on the frontstretch and
Colvin grandstand section X on the backstretch will be designated family
sections. Each family section will be designated as a non-smoking, non-drinking
seating option geared towards families.
“After
the 2009 Southern 500 we heard from many of our fans about what a great
experience they had at Darlington and we also heard that they would like an
expanded family seating area,” said Browning. “Our family sections on both the
front and back stretches are now non-smoking and non-drinking sections that
give fans the option of two of the best seats in the house for the Southern 500.”
Family
seating can be purchased today by contacting the Darlington Raceway ticket
office at 866-459-RACE or visiting DarlingtonRaceway.com.
