says - among other things
- The Associated Press Thursday, Dec. 03, 2009 LAS VEGAS – Negotiations to bring Danica Patrick
to NASCAR are ongoing with Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s
race team, but the driver said he has not participated in the talks and isn't
certain she will drive for his Nationwide Series team. JR Motorsports is co-owned by Earnhardt and Rick Hendrick, and both said the Patrick talks are being
handled by Earnhardt's sister, Kelley. Earnhardt announced Thursday that
Kelley Earnhardt and his cousin, Tony Eury Jr.,
have been given ownership stakes in the organization. Still no
announcement on Patrick's NASCAR plans
By JOHN MARSHALL - AP Sports Writer, Tuesday, Dec. 01,
2009 Danica Patrick has a rough sketch of what her NASCAR
schedule would look like. She has an idea of what series to start in. Her
IndyCar owner is onboard. Now all the popular driver needs is a car to race. Speaking with owner Michael Andretti during a
teleconference on Tuesday, Patrick said she still doesn't have a NASCAR deal
in place. A photo on Patrick's Web site showing her wearing a NASCAR fire
suit - a picture that was quickly taken down - suggests something might be in
the works, but nothing has been announced yet. Patrick

Would Caution Patrick About Multi-Tasking http://www.thatsracin.com/125/story/20188.html By Jim Utter - jutter@charlotteobserver.com Friday, Oct. 09, 2009 FONTANA, Calif. – Juan Pablo Montoya has some
advice for Danica Patrick: Don’t drive in both the IndyCar and NASCAR series
at the same time. “I wouldn’t be
driving both cars, to be honest,” said Montoya, a former
Formula One driver and Indianapolis 500 winner who is now third in points
in NASCAR’s Sprint Cup Series. “I wouldn’t do it because they drive
so different. You’re going to get comfortable in one thing and then you’re
going to make it to the other thing, and every time it’s going to be like
night and day.” Granted, Montoya
didn’t offer up his opinion without being prompted by reporters, some of
whom have been asking virtually everyone's opinion on what Patrick should do
in absence of her own comments. Patrick's
