The Allison Legacy Race Series

Hill Wins Allison Legacy Touring
Series Championship
Sixteen-year-old Timmy Hill from Port Tobacco, Maryland
has won the 2010 championship in the Touring Division of the Allison Legacy
Series.
He won ten races out of twenty races and finished in
the top five eighteen times. He won
four races at Orange County Speedway, his favorite track, including the 75
lap Mid Season Championship in June.
He got two wins at Dillon Motor Speedway and one each at
South Boston Speedway, Florence Motor Speedway, Hickory Speedway and
Rockingham Raceway Park where Timmy says "We were involved in a spin,
then came from 15 car lengths back to win the race". An eleventh grade student at North Point
High School, Timmy has some other championships under his belt including the
2005 and 2006 King George Speedway Championships in more than one division.
He was Maryland's State Champ in Bandoleros in 2006. "This past year was a great learning
experience and we reached our goal for the year which was the championship in
the ALRS. My advice to young drivers coming in to the Legacy Series is to
"Just keep trying and don't give up!" said Hill.
His goal is to make it to NASCAR's elite Sprint Cup Series
one day. Racing under the Blake
Harris Racing banner this season, the Allison Legacy Race Series is proud to
have Timmy as their Champion. His brother Tyler who races in the series
also finished in the top five in points.
