Speedway Directory Co-Founder Retires
Wilmette, IL – December 1, 2009 Frost Motorsports, LLC, a financial advisory firm
for the motorsports industry, has acquired “National Speedway Directory” from
Allan E. Brown. The deal includes Speedwaysonline.com and “The History of
America’s Speedways.” Allan E. Brown will remain as a consultant to the
publication. He has been associated with National Speedway Directory for over
30 years. Widely recognized as an authoritarian on the history of auto
racing, Allan E. Brown has visited over 2,000 auto racing facilities. He has
received the RPM Promoters Workshops prestigious “Stew Reamer Award” for
lifetime service to the weekly auto racing industry. Frost Motorsports, LLC President Timothy W. Frost
said, “National Speedway Directory is a highly respected publication. It is
considered as the authoritative source for racing facility information. We
are excited to continue the tradition, while exploring opportunities for

information source for the motorsports industry. It prints listings of oval
tracks, dragstrips, road courses, sanctions, publications, museums and race schedules.
